I have been living in this house for about a year and absolutely love it here, and if it were up for sale, I would definitely by this place. We have been very happy with the neighbors in the area, and you won't find a better place in the city for the price.
We have signed a lease until July 2009 but due to my recent pregnancy, we are looking to settle somewhere for a extended period of time, which is why we decided to buy. The landlords are welcome to a sublet or a separate lease through their office.
The house:
It is located in Brookline/Overbrook area... off of Breining on Briggs St. It has a huge full kitchen with dishwasher, and washer/dryer hookups in the kitchen. A large dining area, as well as a sunk in living room with really high ceilings. There is plenty of closet space in the bedrooms and a really large two entrance bathroom. The house is all really open, and has a deck as long as the length of the house. There is no back yard due to the house being set off the road a little bit (which is nice in the city), but there is a large fenced in front yard. The house also has a breakfast bar, and a smaller room as soon as you walk in (we made it into a little office).
Rent is $760.00/month + electric
There is also a garage available for an additional $50/month.
They do allow cats ($300.00 cat deposit)--not sure about dogs.

the kitchen has a dishwasher, large refrigerator, and gas stove... there is plenty of cabnet and counter space, as well as a pantry

The dining room is right off of the kitchen, and very open (but it is a defined seperate dining area) -- great for entertaining!!!

Three steps down from the dining room, is a Large sunk-in living room, with high ceilings, and plenty of natural light through the windows and double doors
